NorTerra Inc. is a wholly owned Canadian investment and management company, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. NorTerra Inc. is owned by the Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC) of Inuvik, NT and the Nunasi Corporation of Iqaluit, NU.  Respectively, these two organizations represent the Inuvialuit of the Northwest Territories and Inuit of Nunavut: the aboriginal peoples of Canada's Arctic.

Northern Industrial Sales Ltd. (NIS) is excited to be a vital cog in the NorTerra Group of Companies.  NorTerra Inc. has a well deserved, and proven, track record of successful business achievement in the North.  Their comprehensive understanding of the unique requirements of doing business "North of 60" compliments the NIS goal of establishing a serious presence within the business community of the North and is now the largest provider of industrial supplies.  From north to south, NIS has branches in Inuvik, Yellowknife, Whitehorse, Watson Lake, Terrace, Dawson City, Chetwynd, Prince George, Quesnel, Edmonton and Fort McKay.
