The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of products including receiving, unpacking, counting, identifying and storing of inventory in an organized, accurate and timely manner from a branch warehouse location.
Responsibilities
- Arrange to ship or issue various purchased and processed materials
- Load and unload trucks, move material within warehouse
- Check, accumulate and ship materials to designated areas
- Complete paperwork and maintain files in connection with stock transfers, purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents

The Warehouseperson/Order Picker is responsible for putting stock orders away and replenishing front-end displays, assisting customers at the front counter, assisting co-workers in the shipping/receiving department, and pulling customer stock orders from a computer generated pick slip, quote or open order.

- In branches with Hydraulic Hose Machine, Hydraulic Wire Rope Press, and Pipe Threader – warehouseperson will be trained specialist on this equipment
- In branches that handle Air liquide Gases Warehouseperson will be involved in safely handling these bottles at the branch level
The Warehouse Supervisor manages and coordinates all activities of the warehouse including personnel, receiving, shipping, stacking, and maintaining stock records in the warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the availability of NIS products to meet customer demands and improve productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop others by training new NIS Shipper/Receivers and Warehouseperson/Order pickers – setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance
- Understand and achieve performance standards including correct shipping/receiving procedures, safety practices and follows transportation of dangerous goods and WHIMIS standards
- Understand and achieve ISO 9001 compliance procedures throughout all warehouse operations
- Train supervisors on specialized equipment (Hydraulic Hose Machine, Hydraulic Wire Rope Press, Pipe Threader, Air Liquid Gas Bottles)
The Inside Salesperson is responsible for customer accounts and must develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet organizational goals and values that directly impact business success through thorough knowledge of all product lines and exceptional customer service.

- Create invoices
- Create and organizes special orders per customer requirements
- Supply purchaser with information such as costs, quotes from suppliers etc.
- Research best pricing, negotiates with customers and suppliers
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
- Liaise with other NIS departments (Purchasing, A/P, A/R, Management, Shipping/Receiving) to ensure business processes run smoothly to meet customer demands
The Outside Salesperson is responsible for specific sales territory accounts and will have a thorough knowledge of all product lines, market conditions, and offer exceptional customer service while working closely with the branch and sales manager to increase sales in assigned sales territory.

- Develop a strong understanding of assigned sales territory (major accounts, where purchasing from)
- Supply purchaser with information such as costs, quotes from suppliers etc.

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for data integrity and current inventory pricing by communicating with suppliers and branches and performing cyclical inventory counts.

The Price Control Manager is responsible for ensuring data integrity and accurate pricing within the computer system by communicating with suppliers and branches.

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for ensuring the most appropriate goods and services are selected on the basis of price, quality and customer demand while taking the NIS business brand needs and customer interests into consideration.

- Provide customized reports and information to management as requested and to assist with the preparation of annual budget requests
- Develop market knowledge and contracts for new products and services
- Give presentations about market analysis and possible growth

The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for organizing, motivating and leading the sales team, as well as managing their own specific sales territory, while offering exceptional customer service and a thorough knowledge of all product lines and market conditions. The sales manager will continue to develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships, which meet organizational goals and values that will directly impact business success.

- Coordinate advertising group programs with Sales Rep & Purchasing Manager (President if necessary) for entire group
- Establish training programs for salespersons
- Advise salespersons on ways to improve their sales performance, achieve goals and obtain expected quotas
