WILDFIRE EMERGENCY RESPONSE GUIDE

What can you do to prepare for wildfires?

Wildfires are one of the most common types of natural hazards in Canada, with roughly 8,000 of them occurring across the country each year. Dense forest areas are most at risk, especially during periods of hot and dry weather, and a small fire that may initially go unnoticed can spread very quickly.

The below page contains some tips and resources, along with some essential items, that will help in navigating a wildfire.
